The only positive side of Benazir Killing could be a revolution where the people of Pakistan will get away with dirty Pak. Army, ISI, Chudries, Khans, etc.
I always suspected such incidents. The incidents that will not allow Pakistan to become a democratic country. Who is responsible? Only and only Pakistan Army and Perviz Musharraf.
Now elections will be postponed and Musharraf will continue his will. He never wanted to compromise with politician. He always claimed that Pakistan First – which basically meant that “Destroy Pakistan first”
People come and go, some die naturally and some are killed. I hope that the killing of Benazir Bhutto will open the eyes of US and UK adminsitration and will allow political forces to grow rather Pakistan Army. I hope that the people of Pakistan would come to roads and will throw away Pakistan Army and its dirty establishment and ISI.
When we talk of Al-Qaeeda why the west forget that Al-Qaeeda was trained by Pakistan Army Soldiers. These soldiers have never ever won a war for Pakistan except that they killed their own people in Bangladesh and in Pakistan. Army killed Bhtto, Akber Bughti and many other people.
Why Benazir was targetted? simply becuase she was supporting Musharraf. This was not in the interest of Poor people of Pakistan and Al-Qaeeda as well.
Now what is going to happen? Nothing except Martial Law, or Emergency and Loot.
I share my deep sorrows with the people of Pakistan and Bhutto Family.
Another very important thing to note: Why Buhtto Family in Pakistan, Mujeeb Family in Bangladesh and Ghandi Family in india are the target of killing?

The home grown terrorism that Pakistan used to sponsor to spoil native country’s democracy is now threatening their own country’s existence. It’s true that its time to throw away ISI and similar organization from Pakistan and proceed towards a peace loving nation rather that what we know Pakistan as (till now ).

I am watching events unfold from Scotland. Indeed my immediate suspicion is Musharaff. Either by looking the other way or direct order -He is responsible. It helps his cause and immensely and America will say little to have his stable and corrupt hand in place. America has to stop this double standards approach. The world is to small for it to be effective. Whilst America props up Musharaff the dictator (a man they condemned pre 911), and preaches democracy and goodwill with other side of mouth. Outrageous!
It is also of note that ISI also trained the taliban. The Pakistani security services are up to their necks in this. Bhutto returning was merely the promise of a honey pot. Instead she got a honey trap. This approach Cleans up all his enemies and is easily disguised, given the nature of present day pakistan.

Her death is a saddest event. But a big question is what next? I think the government shoud re-design its policies. Should form its policies according to the wishes of the countrymen. Then all this may stop.
December 27, 2007 at 6:03 pm |
The sudden death of any person in such a tragic way is sad. You asked that what next after the Killing Of Benazir? Very simple answer. The army backed government will be prolonged. Civil Servants – the CSS category and especially the police will manage to make more money. New politicians will be born again. The list of martayr will have few more people.
I request the people of Pakistan to bycot this upcoming election and come to the steet and get away with Pakistan Army.
December 27, 2007 at 8:53 pm |
If the U.S. had fought in the mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan instead of Iraq this may not be happening right now. We have pursued a policy of looking for the bad guy in the wrong place. It is criminal and the blood of Benazir Bhutto is on the hands of everyone who supported this war instead of going after the real criminals, the Taliban and Al Queda.
December 27, 2007 at 10:10 pm |
Remember that Russia fought for more than 20 years in the mountains that you are referring to, and lost the war and went away. Even the great british empire was unable to manage and conquer these people. I personally belong to this area but unfortunately ( this is another story) studied and a little bit education.
The only solution to all these problems is education and health. The fact of the matter is that billions of dollar were given to Pakistani and Afghan governments for helping these poor people but without accountability. At the end all this money went to the kitty of govt. officials who bought bullet proof cars, made new houses and sent their kids to Howard and MIT. The money was never spent on the welfare of these poor (tribal people).
Believe me that you can’t win wars through force rather strategy.

It high time Pakistan should merge with India. Pakistan cannot be rule by the People of Pakistan. I have viewed Pakistan People as self centered and always have their own agenda in their mind, not help the economics grow. If Nawaz Shariff would not make a better leader, as he is also corrupted. All the bloody ‘Mullahs’ must flash out and destroyed, because they are the main trouble makers, Pakistanis have never been sincere in yjoughts and mind. I think by merging Pakistan can be managed better. It is disgrace to be a Pakistani.
December 28, 2007 at 2:39 am |
Common – this could be a dream in day light. If you merge Pakistan with India or resolve the issue of Kashmir then what is the need of Pakistan Army. We should understnad this fact that the only survival of Pakistan Army is to have Kashmir and India as problem.
I wish we can be united again – but this is only wish.
I strongly believe that once the Pakistan Army, ISI, Chudries, Khans, CSP Officer (CSS Walay – who by virtu of passing only one exam rules for the rest of their lives), Nawabs are removed then we will enjoy. They are less than a million while the total population is 180 Million. I just don’t know why these 180 Million people can’t bring a revolution. I am not in favor of Islamic revolution. I want Civil Revolution where scholar ships and jobs would be published in every news paper. Every body has to prove that from where this money is coming.
You know who is suffering the most in Pakistan. A Woman in all forms -as a mother, as a wife, as a sister and as a human being.
We Pakistanis are very strange creature – the man will watch Porn Movies in Hujra while asking their woman not to even listen to Telephone.
AS A NATION WE ARE IN CURSE
December 28, 2007 at 4:16 am |
I think behind this killing is Musharaff’s hand ,pakistan government,ISI and other other organisation .The body guards beside Benazir didnt take any action.

THIS IS YET ANOTHER SAD MOMENT IN THE TURBULENT HISTORY OF DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN.
REGRETTABLY, THOUGH BENAZIR HAS GONE BUT THE STRUGGLE MUST CONTINUE.
WE ALL SHOULD PRAY TO ALLAH FOR A STRONG, SAFE AND SECURE PAKISTAN

It was a very sad moment for me to receive the assasination of BENAZIR…
I don’t know what is the future of pakistan, but i can feel that Pakistan is going into DARK times and the common people can bring pakistan into light. They have to eradicate the terrorism and they have to do it not for themselves , but for the sake of their upcoming generation and above all they will be doing it for their MOTHERLAND. God help Pakistan in such a situation….

It is sad for every person who is not sick minded (Musharraf, ISI and Pakistan Army). It is sad for every human being to see such mass killing. But when it is said that it is Al-Qaeeda, I wonder and laugh as well becuase when people were killed before 9/11, then did we say that it is Al-Qaeeda.
In my personal opinion there is nothing like Al-Qaeeda. It is a mission code name like “operation desert storm”.
Especially in country like Pakistan where an influential and powerful Government official can lable any one, any where, any time as an Al-Qaeeda memeber.
Look at Farooq Laghari, Aftab Sherpao, and other few such official who handed over people to united states that they are Al-Qaeeda and received millions of dollars.
Pakistan is a weak country i.e. its integrity is bonded with the help of some bonding lotion like “ELPHY”, which has certain time and then it will fall apart. I am sure that soon Pakistan will disintegrate. I am not at all happy with this, but this is going to happen. It is the natural end.
Terrorism can be eridicated only and only if
1. Army is terminated
2. Madrassas are closed all over the country by sheer force
3. Religious leaders and opportunist like Molana Fazal Rehman, and Chudries of Gujrat are banned from all kind of political activities
4. Education, health and other basic services are provided to poor people of Pakistan
5. The funds that USA give to Pakistan are monitored closely
I DON’T SEE PAKISTAN AFTER 2010
December 28, 2007 at 6:42 pm |
USA is the one to blame here. It’s all the US that is making the mistakes in Pakistan. Why does it need Musharraf help to fix It’s problem with Alqaida. As Musharraf knows America’s inability to deal with the Islamic terrorism without his help, He doesn’t want to eradicate the islamic terrorism. He knows He will be thrown out of office once the terrrorism is gone from Pak. So obviously He makes sure the terrorism stays in Pak.
West!! think out of the cirle. you don’t need the Pakistan army’s to save you from islamic terrorism. It will have adverse affect on you. Keep away from Pak. Let the revolution come in pakistani common man. As long as you are giving strategic support to the corrupt Paki administrators, the people there have no will to fight for their rights. The common pakistani thinks America is doing wrong here But America thinks it’s doing right…. Who is right here… Don’t give billions of tax dolars to the corrupt army/politicians. Audit the accounts. Make sure they go to the education of the children not to build bunkers on borders. As long as you don’t get the people educated, the problems will not be solved. Common Muslim lives better in Gujarat state(ruled by facist Hindus in India) than in Pakistan. Where is the problem.
To my muslim friends in West, make sure all the donations you are making to philanthropic purposes are routed to the right cause. all the terrorists are not bad people they are there with no other choice. I think 99% of the terrorist will like to lead a normal life with Khuran in their hands with 3 meals a day and a loving family rather than a khuran in a hand and RDX bag tied to their waists. They took the path of terrorism as they don’t have other choices to make their lives purposeful.

Agree what Ali commented above. Pak future is bleak I think 2010-2015 is the time when Pakistan, Middle East and Central Asia will be balkanized politically and geographically.

As you all aware that Sindhi are sufi and secular and respect and bleave that all and all relegion for peace and politics for developement and peace but we Sindhi are in pakistan like newcolonial where Punab and Punjabi are ruling us and getting our land finanace in the name of Islam and fedration.
after martyar BB we are feel lonely and want left from pakistan
January 8, 2008 at 2:23 pm |
My Dear – you are right. I am neither Sindhi, nor Punjabi, nor balochi, and nor Pathan. I am simply Pakistnai. This is what we have not been taught inour schools and colleges.
Don’t feel lonely and don’t forget that Benazir always use Sindh Card to become PM and played a leading role in the politics. She never every shared her billions of Rs. with Sindhis. She always preferred to stay in London or Dubai when it was hard time. She was a feudal lord whose kids study abroad. Please don’t mind but this is a fact. She was more like a sestren woman.
To become PM she was even ready to negotiate with Army. Beside all this she had two chances to lead this country and she did nothing except to loot money and deposit it in foriegn banks. She consistently proved a failure. She never believed in Democracy otherwise she should have allowed other people to contest for the leadership of PPP.
Now coming to Punjabi Factor – Sindh is not the only province suffering from punjab. They are big and rich and this is the principle that works.
January 11, 2008 at 8:56 am |
Countries are destabelized by internal and external enemies. The fact is in Pakistan this time external factors are playing their role in destabelizing this great country. Indians are sitting on both sides of Pakistan. One thing is sure hindus and jews are two Covered nations who are afraid of fighting. They are gaining their objectives by making Muslims and Christians to fight. They are getting success for time being but their whole planning is based on factors they know and control ( like media, banking system globalization). This world is waiting for a person who thinks different and create some new factors which would topple the planning of Jews (Remember Planning is based on large infinit number of factors and if any one of those goes wrong then whole planning is disturbed). These hindus are really babies regarding planning. You are good at hiding black face and portraying beauty of your culture and country. You say that your country is progressing no doubt yes your state is becoming rich but what about people. How many of them are living below poverty line may be more than any other single country in the world. What are your intelligence agencies are doing in neighboring countries making people to fight. Just remember no doubt planning is necessary to live so do for well being of people and if you plane bad things the ALLAH is the best planner.
January 11, 2008 at 9:07 am |
Its just one bad guy playing at the hands of Jews. Who are pushing Musharraf to kill his country fellows on one side and aiding ignorant people on other side to go and blow them selves and their country fellows. India has more councils in Afghanistan not help them but to train people to go and innocent peoples of Pakistan. Pakistanis are suffering just like indians at the hand of bad ruler. Most of us just know what media portrays. Pakistanis are happy with their army who is safeguarding their boundries for so long. Pakistan is reality only Muslim nuclear nation which is very difficult to digest for Jews and Hindus. So they are making full efforts to create situations like is today in Pakistan to prove that Pakistan’s Nuclear bomb can go in wrong hands. To make it real Indians agency raw is training people in Afghanistan to enter Pakistan and do what you are watching. How many of us confirm what media is saying.
January 11, 2008 at 9:11 am |
If people are right then why they pay lobbies to do propaganda for them. Truth is that world is today totally captured by media. Bigger the news channel bigger would be the price to broadcast what you want them to. CNN, BBC why they always say what is in the favour of jews. Y American soldiers after killing more people than all terrorist organizations have killed are not terrorist.
January 11, 2008 at 3:44 pm |
Please don’t blame Hindus and Jews, rather blame Muslims who became a saleable commodity. Please don’t blame America, Israel, and India or Afghanistan, rahter blame Pakistan Army who conquered their own people four times (Martial Laws) rather winning any war on terroism.
India is the largest democracy in the world (you accept it or not, but the entire world accept it and agrees to it). No doubt poverty and corruption is there, but at least their army can’t take over political forces.
You talked about Pakistan Army and said that they are protecting boarders – hahhahaha. Do you remember What Zia Ul Haq (Zalil) said. “Siacheen – what siacheen, even there is no grass”. This was his statement about the land of Pakistan. Next he said “Constitution – I will throw it way. It is not Quranic verse” This is what he said about the Law of the land. Now don’t forget that Zia Ul Haq Zalil represented Pakistan Army, and as per your statment the “defender of the homeland”.
Open your eyes and look around you. What these defenders of the land did with Judicioury and constitution of Pakistan.
They played dirty politics in Afghanistan and lost the opportunity and thus India came there to help those poor people, consistently looted by Pakistan Army.
Why we keep dogs in our homes – to protect us and inform us against theives not to tell us what to do? Army is paid to be on the boarders and protect us and inform us rather come and sit in the Presidency.
You said Pakistanis are happy with Army – common Pakistani hate Army. Go to Waziristan, Swat, Balochistan and Interior Sindh and you will come to know how much people love Pakistan Army.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Dare to raise your voice for the inevitable socio-political change in Pakistan, to empower the Pakistani , the country belongs to.
Since the creation of Pakistan the Pakistani people are left at distant from the corridor of power so that the ruling elite can do what they wanted to do in favour of their interest, leaving the Pakistani people at the mercy of circumstances. As this policy is denial of right of Pakistani people to rule their country according to their aspiration and desire to built this country, which can provide equal opportunity to all without any discrimination for the establishment of welfare society. Only the society base on tolerance, equality and justice can be the real guarantee for the prosperous and strong Pakistan there for your intention is invited to the crucial movement which could be the point of distraction or disaster.
We have already lost the major part of Pakistan in 1971 simply to save the centralised sole power to exploit this country by the ruling elite they let the country break in part then allowing the masses to rule this country democratically. In the present circumstances we are again dragging our sovereignty at stake for the external interest in the name of national interest, instead of our interest i.e. the interest of Pakistani people at large.
Mr.Musharaf, is not a problem nor the restoration of chief justice will make any difference but it is the prevailing socio-political system destroying the institution and victimizing the patriotic people like Dr.Qadeer khan ,who provide strong sense of security to the nation and the government humiliate him for the pleasure of others. At the same time Oppressed nationality also exploited and deprived from their due right and resources The current system ,where in transparency and accountability can not be established, is responsible for all this mess need to be change for prosperity of Pakistani, otherwise exploitation and injustice will continue to exist in one form or the other. Pakistani are deprived from their right to rule this country since last 60 years.
The only way out of these crucial circumstances is to empower the common Pakistani at grass route level i.e. the change of system. This change is inevitable for the prosperous Pakistan . Along with basic guarantees for the creation of welfare state, where in public representative and institution shall be answerable and accountable to the masses.

I would love to see some feedback. About my age? has nothing to do with article but at lease I saw the Civil Marshal of Bhutto, then the actual marshal law of Zia. Anyways – tell me which part is wrong and I am ready to remove the post. But please don’t comment in a typical Pakistani Way. I hope to see some thing from you.
